Sold out show in Newbury
The show at Newbury was sold out. it was really good to see how it works with a lot of people on stage. The tech crew at Newbury were incredibly helpful, it was the first time we had to get in tech and do the show all in one day.
For me it was a nervous show and not the 'excited to be on stage' nerves, it was the nerves that make you feel sick. Not sure why, there wasn’t any reason, but it doesn’t make performing or organising easier in any way.
Today I have been looking through the audience feedback and some of it is lovely.
We also got a review on FB. Check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Elusivecircus/reviews/
A few audience comments about being on stage with us: ‘privileged and thrilled.’ ‘ Felt like how it would be to be an actor’. ‘Excited to see circus up close’. ‘An amazing experience as I had never been onstage.’
Audience feedback is a really valuable to develop the show, we don’t get to talk to everyone afterwards and it is good to hear what people have to say, the mix between younger audience members and adults
