Premier of Dust

After Seachange there were a few things that needed changing to improve the show before the

first performance, we had two days at Greenwhich theatre to make those changes and finish the show. Followed by a very smooth day of tech rehearsal and a dress run.

Then Premier of Dust! Both shows at Greenwich Theatre went well with some good feedback from the audience (on our feedback forms that were handed out)

one that stood out was ‘I loved the incorporated dance, the circus skills melded beautifully in the story’ (this one also had a wonderful drawing of Hugo our puppet on the back. Another audience comment was ‘I felt like I was in the show’

Then came the dreaded one hour get out, all of our set equipment including counterweight tower out, the black tabs put back up and floor mopped in under hour! I am unbeleviably grateful to the cast and crew the theatre crew and some wonderful friends who helped which meant I didn’t get landed with a bill for being overtime.

There are still changes I want to make to the show but now they have to wait until after the performance at Newbury corn exchange, which is frustrating but we don’t have rehearsals before hand.

For now I look forward to seeing lots of people in our strange world of Dust at Newbury Corn Exchange.
